Ed Gendron, the founder of Gendron Homes grew up in Tucson, Arizona.  He started his adult life with service in the Army Air Corps flying B-17's and later B-29's.  After WWII, Ed moved to Colorado Springs and started Gendron Homes in 1946.  Gendron Homes stands today as El Paso County's longest continuing operating homebuilding company.

Ed Gendron's philosophy was simple, build the best home for the money and build it as if it was for yourself.  This philosophy still stands today.

In 1979, Ed's son Brad took over his father's business and continued the tradition of unmatched value, concern for quality and service.  Providing value to homebuyers has guided Gendron Homes for 65 years and two generations.  In an era of short cuts, the Gendron approach ensures enduring pride of ownership and appreciation.  In 2008, Candace Gendron took over operations with the same committment to carry on the family legacy.

Not many builders can claim a history as rich as that of Gendron Homes. With over 65 years of experience, this corporation stands at the forefront of its class. The ability to withstand changing trends and techniques through adaptation has allowed Gendron Homes the kind of staying power many only dream about. Gendron's homes are classic and extremely functional in design. The true spirit of Colorado is captured uniquely in every Gendron-built home.

Remember...it's a Gendron.
